I have a Bachelors Degree (BS) in Biology from the University of California at Irvine and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Fine Art from California State University at Long Beach. Some of my undergraduate work was completed at the; the American University of Beirut, in Lebanon. I completed a two year training program as a docent at the Seattle Art Museum. |
| | My work in the local arts community includes curating several Festival Sundiata Art Exhibits at the Seattle Center, and serving on the Board of the James W. Washington, Jr. Foundation. I served as an On Site Evaluator for 4Culture, and curated for the Art Gallery at South Seattle Community College for four years. Recently, I was a panelist for the Washington State Arts Commission’s Grants to Organizations Program.
I am also a dedicated working Artist. At present the gourd is my primary sculpture medium.
